Dr. Alinawaz Moghal received his medical degree at Dow Medical College and began his practice of general surgery at Jinnah Post-Graduate Medical Center in Karachi, Pakistan. Following an internship at Marymount Hospital in Garfield, Ohio, Dr. Moghal completed a general surgery residency at Doctor's Hospital (now Hillcrest Hospital) in Mayfield Heights, Ohio in 1962 and at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1963. He also completed a chief surgical residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado in 1964.

Dr. Moghal was board certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1965 and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 1966. He is licensed in both Ohio and Canada.

Dr. Moghal worked at a private practice in Willoughby, Ohio, where he practiced general surgery and family medicine. He retired from general surgery in 1994. He also worked in the practice of industrial medicine, providing assessments and therapy to a diverse patient population involved with workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.
